Happy Sunday, all! Miss Andi requested that I share my playlist that I workout to, and I want to oblige right away. Her gym has lost its tunes, and no exerciser should be without tunes! I did have some apprehension, though. I've got a few tunes on the ol'
iPod shuffle that might make you giggle. Or just totally laugh at and make you think I'm a doofus.
Either way, here goes! I obviously don't work out long enough to listen to all these songs, but I keep them all on there to shuffle through.
- "Boomin'" by TobyMac
- "Made to Love" by TobyMac
- "Ignition" by TobyMac
- "Feelin' So Fly" by TobyMac
- "No Ordinary Love" by TobyMac
- "Jesus Freak" by DC Talk
- "Home" by Marc Broussard
- "Supernatural" by DC Talk
- "Won't Back Down" by MercyMe
- "New World (From 'Narnia' Album)" by TobyMac
- "Sweet Sacrifice" by Evanescence
- "Say The Word (Now) [Remix]" by DC Talk
- "Boom" by P.O.D.
- "Eye of the Tiger" by Survivor {giggle} - yes, laugh away, but it does pump you up.
- "Float On" by Modest Mouse
- "SexyBack" by Justin Timberlake {giggle} - again, I'm not a big fan of J.T., but it is peppy! Watch out for the curse word - might want to download the "clean" version. I downloaded before I figured that out.
- "Best of You" by Foo Fighters
- "Black Suits Comin' (Nod Ya Head)" by Will Smith {giggle}
- "No Air" by Jordin Sparks & Chris Brown
- "Movin' On Up (Remastered)" by Third Day
So, there you have it! Again, I have tastes in all varieties of music, and it shows. If you want a jumping-off point for searching for your workout music and have iTunes, the iMixes and iTunes Essentials are a great place to start.
The iMixes are user-created playlists, and I searched "exercise" and "workout", then picked individual songs that appealed to me from user's playlists. With the iTunes Essentials, iTunes has created playlists such as "Total Workout: Cardio". There are a lot of songs in these lists, you're sure to find some that work for your exercise routine.
