There's not a whole lot to say except that it was fabulous. Sammy really enjoyed it, too. We actually missed Jars of Clay and most of Robert Randolph, but Switchfoot & Third Day really rocked the house. They were amazing.
My favorite part was when they brought out all the performers at the end and performed U2's "When Love Comes To Town." That ROCKED. Amazing voices and ability those guys have.
If you ever have a chance to go to a Third Day show, do it! You will not be sorry. I'll provide poor quality pictures and maybe a video or two later (it is hard to shoot pictures at a concert with half-dark lighting, people in front of you, and many other factors).
Oh, and in regards to my "Live Blogging" post below... Yes. It was loud. Definitely the loudest concert I've ever been to. I truly was concerned for our hearing, but not too worried after getting the earplugs. We also noticed that there were about 50 seats empty behind us, so we moved back. After that, we were practically alone in the far right corner and could see perfectly without being blasted by the speakers. Let's just say the Ticketmaster "best available" isn't all it is cracked up to be! What I consider "best" is not exactly what they gave me, but it all worked out and I got to attend a concert from one of my favorite Christian groups of all time. What could be better?
